THE STANISLAUS SUPERIOR COURT ADOPTS EMERGENCY RULE REQUIRING FACE COVERINGS 

On June 22, 2020, the Court adopted Emergency Rule ER-1.02, which requires all persons entering a court facility to wear a face covering.  The rule applies to all courthouses in the county and is effective immediately.   Anyone who is unable to wear a mask can request an accommodation by submitting a Request for Accommodation form (MC-410) to the Court’s ADA Coordinator.  More information about the ADA procedure is located at https://www.stanct.org/ada-information.  Emergency Rule 1.02 is set forth here: Click Here to read

RESUMPTION OF TRAFFIC TRIALS AND ARRAIGNMENTS

Traffic Court Trials and Trials by Written Declaration will resume on their scheduled trial dates, effective July 23, 2020, in Department 20.

Traffic Court Arraignments will resume on August 3, 2020 by appointment only. 

New:  Cases may be resolved with a fine reduction without requiring a court appearance.

The Traffic Court Clerk's office will reopen on August 3, 2020, as follows:

      Monday through Friday, with office hours of 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
      Phone hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Due to COVID-19, the number of persons entering the court facility must be limited in order to meet social distancing requirements per public health guidelines.
