Law Day Student Murals
Stanislaus County Superior Court’s Law Day Event varies from year to year, but it always emphasizes how law and the legal process contribute to the freedoms that all Americans share. Activities can range from student courthouse tours where they learn about the justice system, to creation of themed artwork by local high school students, to a legal resource and knowledge fair involving our local bar association and other justice partners offering information about a variety of county wide resources.
Law Day student murals have come to play an integral role in our event because they promote involvement of the youth within our community to participate in our campaign. Each year the Stanislaus County Superior Court extends an invitation to our local high school art students to paint murals to decorate our halls. As a result the court has had the privilege of sharing with the public some fantastic artwork created by teenage history buffs and aspiring artists!
