Request for ADA Accommodation can be made the following ways:

Complete the Request for Accommodation Form and mail or hand deliver to the Human Resources Division, 800 11th Street, Room 100, Modesto, CA 95354 (If hand delivering, use the RED PHONE located outside of Room 100 for contact).

Exterior ramps are available at each courthouse entrance.

Auditory Impairments

All courtrooms are equipped for use of portable assisted listening devices.  This device is available for public use upon request.  You can request this device from the courtroom bailiff.  This device is also available for use by jurors and should be requested from the jury office staff when reporting for jury duty.

The device works by using a panel to convert sounds to a safe, invisible, infrared light which is then broadcast to the room and picked up by individual receivers with headphones.  The volume is adjustable.

Additional Resources

The Court cannot provide legal counsel for individuals that are disabled. However, there are additional resources below that may be able to provide assistance.
